THE SITE
The Torre delle Nazioni, or Tower of Nations, designed in 1938 by the architect Venturino Venturi and built in 1940, is a historic building located inside the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples. The tower is a parallelepiped measuring 24.5 meters on each side and 42 meters in height; it was originally decorated with bas-reliefs celebrating the regime by Pasquale Monaco and Vincenzo Meconio. Its cantilevered floors in reinforced concrete are an interesting feature, considered a bold solution for the computational technology of the day.
